ABOUT THE MAKER
Owner and founder - Leah Carpenter
A tiny studio apartment.
A kitchen cutting board.
A dull blade.
It all started on the floor of my studio apartment just out of college. After hearing my Grandma was diagnosed with her 5th cancer, I spent hours hunched over my kitchen cutting board, slicing away tiny shreds of paper . I wanted a card that meant more than "get well" or "thinking of you". I wanted a card that symbolized a lifetime of memories and love that she could admire for the rest of her life. I finished with a 3D windmill.
You can see the story here:
To this day, the windmill sits on my Grandpa's bookshelf.
While I set out to inspire and surprise my Grandma, I too found inspiration and now I can't stop creating! Each creation is handmade in my Colorado home studio.
